JESUS SAID THIS
“As long as it is day, we must do the works of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” — John 9:4-5
The word that came to me this morning was “Redeeming the Time.” I imagine that our enemy thought this would be wasted time. Some may have even thought the closing of churches would be the end of Christianity.
But what is amazing is how the church has not only survived but thrived during a pandemic. Why? Because the work of God has not stopped. I am proud of the church of Jesus Christ during this time.
I have watched as pastors and churches have worked hard to keep sharing the Word of God. Many are proclaiming Christ powerfully through the social media with services and devotions on line. Some have had Drive-In Services. Ministry has not stopped as needs in the community have continued to be met and churches have been reaching out to areas hit by tornadoes and storms.
The church understands it is still daylight and though it is getting close to sunset we still have just a little bit more time to finish the mission God has given us. Let’s pray that we will finish strong.
