It is starting to get summer. In a normal summer, there are hundreds of people who go to the beach and lay out in the sun. My wife is one of them. She loves to lay out in the sun. For her the hotter the better.
Those who get out in the sun are affected by the sun. Their skins begin to change and if they stay out too long they get sunburned.
Those who hang around the Son, (S-o-n) began to change as well. The way you know you are getting enough of the Son (and by the way you can never have too much of Him) is you begin to change the way you think, talk, and act. If you spend time with Jesus, He will rub off on you. John 6 says
40 The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.
