My favorite place to eat pizza is A Slice of Brooklyn, here in Simpsonville. Because the dough is the best! Their dough goes through some major abuse before it is ready to be served. It is slammed down on the counter! Beaten and smacked around! Then flatten out and eventually twirled around on a single finger and thrown into the air!
Most people aren't thinking about work that goes into making the dough. All they are thinking about is the toppings they are going to put on the pizza.
Here is the deal, I believe God is using this crisis to get us ready to see His goodness and His blessings in our lives. But before He will add all the good toppings, He is using this time to get us ready for the blessings, He has in store. Take a moment and really listen to a verse that I think is so fitting for the times we live in.
Be content with who you are, and don’t put on airs. God’s strong hand is on you; He’ll promote you at the right time. (1 Peter 5:6)
Read over that verse one more time and let it sink in. If you believe this Scripture wholeheartedly then it will put an end to all your stress, anxiety and worry.
Relax, God has not taken His hand off you. He is getting you and I ready for the toppings or the blessings that will come.
