I am not one to drink hot tea. But on occasion, I have and what I have noticed is there are two kinds of tea drinkers: the dippers and the droppers.
The dippers dip their tea bags up and down in the mug. You know there are a lot of people who are like the dippers when it comes to their faith in God. They dip into things of God when times are rough and dip back out when times are good.
The other kind of tea drinkers are the droppers. They drop their tea bag in and leave it alone. They begin to see an amazing transformation take place the color of the hot water in the mug changes quickly to a dark color.
I asked my friend who is a dipper, “Why don’t you just drop your bag in and leave it alone like I do?” He said that if he did the flavor of the tea would be strong and he doesn’t like strong tea.
Maybe that is why some are dippers in the faith. They are not ready for a real strong transformation to take place. But here is the thing if you go all in and plan on going all the way with God. You will see real transformation in your life that will be strong.
2 Corinthians 5:17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Isn’t it time to go all in with Christ?
