You probably know that a cheetah can run up to 70 miles an hour. That is fast. But did you know a cheetah’s has one big weakness?
It has a small heart.
Its small heart causes the cheetah to tire quickly. So when a cheetah is running down its prey, it must end its chase quickly.
When it comes to following God, there are some who like the cheetah run after God quickly then in the middle of the chase give up because they get tired. Galatians 6:9 says
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Again, my encouragement to you is to not give up. Our enemy wants us to give up. But you and I are not going to give up. We understand what is at stake. We understand the prize we are fighting for.
Thomas Edison, inventor of the light bulb said, “Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” You may be one more prayer away from seeing your answer come. Now is not the time to give up. Now is the time to kick into gear and get going.
