Pastor Lee and Gidget Athey Balancing it All

Let’s play a quick game. Here are some phrases you may have said lately or may have heard someone else say recently. See if you can fill in the blanks. Balancing it All

I'm at the end of my... (Hover here for answer)

I'm coming... (Hover here for answer)

I'm at my wits... (Hover here for answer)

I'm really stressed... (Hover here for answer)

I'm ready to throw in the... (Hover here for answer)

My life is out of... (Hover here for answer)

We all know and often use these phrases to describe our life when life gets out of balance. But God never intended for our lives to be this way. What do we do, when we feel like this? Paul tells us . . .

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
(Philippians 4:6)

Well you say, this is all very well to say don't worry, but how do you stop it? Every time I try to stop worrying, I worry more. You can't stop it just by the exercise of will power.

Again, that's the secret of running the race — here it is:

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

So what is the answer? Repeat and pray again. Pray until you have given it to God. Let God have it. You are His child. He is responsible for you and He will take care of you.

Let us pray!

Blessings,

Pastor Lee & Gidget Athey
